Only a few months after launching out of the Pocket Hercules office in June 2025, Dead Click Revival is making waves for businesses and marketers who want to do more with less. It’s the latest business venture of many that have come out of “The Pocket”.
Minnetonka, MN– Anglers and hopheads might remember a certain beer delivery drone that debuted at the 2015 NFL Super Bowl, and ended up on The Today Show, Fox News, The Wall Street Journal and countless other media outlets.

Entirely conceived by Pocket Hercules, Lakemaid Beer won a nationwide audience by showcasing a 12-pack of Lakemaid being delivered to ice fishing huts on Lake Waconia via a flying drone.
Though nowadays it’s a popular tactic for businesses and influencers to found drink brands, in 2015, the idea was novel.
“When we launched Lakemaid, it was unprecedented for an ad agency to own its own beer brand,” said Smith. “And back then, it was the beginning of the craft beer revolution – so there were not a lot of independent brands out there.”
Shortly after the beer drone heard ‘round the world, Pocket also launched and part-owned an artisan-quality, 100% carbon neutral coffee brand, Tiny Footprint. In 2012, Pocket Hercules launched its very own phone case brand, Awesimals, geared towards kids who were the jolly recipients of their parents’ outdated iPhones.

Now, the latest venture born of the agency is not a physical product, but a tool–and not just any tool. The kind of tool that entirely changes the way we go about digital marketing. Indeed, a high-end outdoor equipment manufacturer recently saw a 110% ROI from a 4-day Dead Click Revival trial.
“Pocket Hercules has started separate P&Ls before, but always with physical products,” said Jason Smith, founder and chief creative director of Pocket Hercules. “Dead Click Revival is the first new service offering and collaboration with an outside expert, Megan Gaffney. And it’s already changing the game for so many of our clients.”
Dead Click Revival: How To Identify Your Website Traffic
Using just an IP address, Dead Click Revival is able to deliver quality leads, complete with phone numbers, email addresses, and even LinkedIn profiles straight from your website traffic. It’s all delivered on a live, user-friendly dashboard that uses AI to not only rank the quality of the lead but provide a brief summary on exactly why that lead might be interested in a business’s product or service.
The result? Marketers don’t just see how many visitors landed on their website on any given day. They know exactly who stopped by, and they have the exact information they need to turn that lead into a conversion using retargeting techniques such as digital ads, e-blasts, or even a traditional phone call.
The idea for what is now known as Dead Click Revival arose from Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Growth Consultant, and Founder of Primo Marketing, Megan Gaffney, who has turned to Pocket Hercules as her main creative partner for more than 20 years.
“Dead Click Revival is a foundational net that every marketer should add to their toolkit,” said Gaffney. “For so many of my clients, integrating this tool is their inflection point. It’s their revival moment. In the face of feeling defeated and succumbing to status quo marketing, this is the tool to get back in the game.”
Changing Digital Landscape Demands Strategic Innovation
In June 2025, Gaffney was feeling the effects of an increasingly convoluted and costly digital advertising marketplace. Fed up with the high cost and minimal return of digital advertising, more and more of her clients were inclined to move ad spend away from Meta and Google. The reasoning was simple: the return was nowhere to be found.
The landscape was even harder for businesses operating in restricted industries, which have legal limitations on the kind of digital marketing they can engage in. These industries include financial services, pharmaceuticals, firearms and more.
For Gaffney, enough was enough. She needed a way to generate real, solid Return on Investment (ROI) for her clients. But there wasn’t a comprehensive, elegant solution that already existed in the market.
So, she invented one.
At the time, Gaffney was working out of the Pocket Hercules office in Minnetonka, Minnesota. One day, she showed the tool to Jason Smith, Chief Creative Officer and Founder of Pocket Hercules. He couldn’t believe it. He knew she was sitting on gold.
From there, things moved quickly. Together, Smith and Gaffney registered the business on June 21, 2025. By the end of the month, several clients had begun trials with the new tool. The growth after that was exponential. The momentum and feedback from clients were electric.
“Businesses and marketers started to feel like they weren’t losing anymore,” said Gaffney. “With Dead Click Revival, they’re moving the needle again.”
